EmpowHER Fund

The very existence of Boss Women Connect is to provide women entrepreneurs opportunities to thrive in business, network, form genuine connections with like-minded women and more.

The 𝐁𝐖𝐂 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝 was established to fund members of our community in their business endeavors whether it’s for inventory, investing in their knowledge, or to fund additional resources their business need. 

Funding for this fund is 100% provided through a portion of membership proceeds. We allocate 5% of all membership sales to contribute to the fund year round. 

At the renewal of a membership term, we will award a prominent member/members funds to invest in their business. The number of recipients varies based upon available funding.

Recipient Nominations 

Recipients of BWC EmpowHER Fund must be an active InHER Circle or WinHER Circle member at the time of nomination acceptance. 

Nominees must have attended at least 50% of the organization’s events/festivities during the said membership term to proceed to the selections process. 

 

Recipient Selections 

The selection process will consist of votes from eligible voters. Eligible voters are other members and the organization’s leaders. Be sure to forge genuine connections with members in our community so that if you’re nominated you have a vote! 

At least 55% of eligible voters must participate in the selection process. This will account for the majority of our organization. In the case of a tie vote or insufficient votes received, organizational leaders will conclude with a panel vote.

Merit-Based Awards

Recipients can expect to be awarded no less than $250. Funds are disbursed based on tenure, participation, character, and organizational achievements. Recipients must be an active InHER Circle or WinHER Circle member at the time of disbursement.
